The Group of Graphism and Molecular Modelling (GGMM) is a scientific association that brings together a wide range of themes, from bioinformatics to theoretical chemistry. The aim of the GGMM is to promote the development of molecular modeling through specific initiatives, such as the GGMM Prize. This award recognizes the Ph.D. work of a young researcher within three years of their Ph.D. defense. The GGMM also facilitates the promotion of employment opportunities in academic and industrial laboratories.
Every two years, the GGMM organizes a congress aimed at showcasing advances in our field, from molecular modeling of structural interactions to AI development applied to biology and the living world. Keynote conferences, oral presentations, and poster sessions form the cornerstone of these congress days. Renowned experts are invited to this meeting to evaluate the state of the art in this constantly evolving domain. The association is particularly dedicated to fostering opportunities for young researchers, including Ph.D. students and post-doctoral fellows, to present their work and engage with our community and industrial partners.
We are very pleased to announce that the next edition of the GGMM Congress will take place in the city of Forge-Les-Eaux, in the Normandie region of France, from June 10 to June 12, 2025. The congress will feature five thematic sessions with five keynote speakers: Jessica Andréani (Structural Bioinformatics and AI), Max Bonomi (Integrative Modeling), Aurélien de la Lande (Multi-Scale Simulations), Barbora Kozlíková (Graphism and Visualization), and Giorgia Brancolini (Interface Modeling).
